This is a picture of me with my students summer school 2012 during a summer camp at Swarthmore College for the Chester Children's Chorus. The students listened to an array of genre of music. They drew, painted and created art based on what they heard and created while listening to the songs. For their final project the middle school children composed, performed and illustrated their own music creating a visual and musical symphony of sorts. The picture to the right is the visual symphony. For more information please click on it and find a link to the youtube video where the music and artwork can be viewed in a video.

Instruction-Teaching - Classes

Currently I am working as an artist in residence at Swarthmore College's Performing Arts Department. Through this exciting experience I made a connection to the Chester Children's Chorus. I was asked to teach the art of drawing from dance which I did in the Spring of 2012. This summer I taught a class of middle school 12 & 13 year old students, "Drawing from Music " at Swarthmore College during a 5 week summer camp.

The children composed, wrote, and performed their own music while creating art to reflect the music they created as well as a wide range of music from over 38 genres.

The project was title " A Symphony of Love".lovesymphony
